In my case I did not post to take any sides I just offered some sources of info.
For myself I would like to see a better test. Rather than a vehicle I would like to see the test done on lets say a Diesel Generator set. You can put an constant load on a generator that can be duplicatied in a before and after installation test and there is no air resistance, and road conditions to contend with and most of all no driver controling the pedal/accelerator.
As long as there is a constant load the Generator will run to match the load; constant.
A remote trank with the same measured quanity of fuel for each test; tested for the same amount of time and with some exhaust emissions test equipment hooked to the exhaust. I believe this would easily reveal the truth.
This is what I would do if I was selling the product.
What about having some one from Consumer Guide run the test?
