Yeah.. that's what the instructions say. You can rig it otherwise, however. I am pretty new to this and have yet to pull my injectors, I don't have extra crush washers lying around and it seems like a big hassle to pull them. Just felt more comfortable w/ the GP hole.
hopefully that has nothing to do personal preferences.
