Well, after many stops and starts and delays for various reasons, I have the rebuilt turbo installed and The Ambassador is back on the road.

Runs like a charm too. No squealing, no burnt oil smell when I mash it to the floor.

I like my 300D but it doesn't compare to the ride of my W116. Good to be back in the old boy.
