My '91 300E was on it's last leg when I got it as a hand me down. My mom neglected it, but she did change the oil regularly -- preserving the engine at least. I've done so many repairs to this car thanks to this forum that they are literally too many to list. The car is in almost perfect running and cosmetic condition now.
