Had the brakes done by the local shop. I almost blew a gasket when I found out that the place I had bought the calipers from (1) sent me two left side calipers instead of 1 of each as I ordered, and (2) sent me calipers that didn't even fit. Luckily my local shop was able to get calipers within about 24 hours that were ~ the same price. Sent the wrong ones back and got a refund. Brakes seem to be doing well at this point. Some sqeaking, but I'm hoping that will go away in a couple of weeks.

Getting ready to tackle replacing the glow plugs and fuel filter as the car suddenly will not start. Plenty of battery power and she even turns over, but it just won't fire up and start. Don't know that I've diagnosed it correctly (ok, so I'm just taking a somewhat informed WAG), but I figure it can't hurt to change the plugs and filters. I've never done either before, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Any words of wisdom?
