It's the sealing ring. I found another post like this in the search. It seems that I don't have the proper sealing ring. I have that flat type, I ordered 3 oil filter kits from FastLane here. I've done about 6 oil changes on the car since I got it about 2 years ago but never had this problem till now. I was buying the oil filter from Advanced. I'll be getting the good stuff from now on. We'll see how it goes on Friday I hope.
