ZeeBaas, I think they are made in Stratford!
I figured I was going to get myself a nice littler silver Van Staal as a graduation from college present. But than I found these! Seems the founder of Van Staal decided in typical OCD engineer fashion that Zebco wasn't doing a good enough job, and he could do better! Supposidly this is the best spinning reel ever made by anyone period, its built like a jet engine!
IMHO Van Staal's still look better. I started talking to some guys at the tackle shop about them, and you would have thought I was talking about ordering an Enzo. These reels are not stocked, you order them, and they have lots of custom options. Drag range, type of retreive, etc. If the guys in Stratford when I get serious next spring I'm going to his shop.

They make Van Staal's look cheap!
More fun than a watch though!
Now the problem is a need an amazing rod to hang something like that from! Even a G Loomis just seems to fall a little short.
