The locksmith just left. He made a new key in about 10 minutes, then he popped the tumbler out and put my new one in VOILA! I have ignition. It was expensive for the new key, but he did cut me a break as the tumbler removal and replacement(my MB tumbler keyed to the VIN) because he was able to make the key so quickly. It was an MB tumbler but a generic one with a machined key and was easily made...at least he made it look easy.

Anyone in the Antelope Valley that needs a key made or locks made Kwik Key is the one, ask for Carlos. He is flippen amazing at this stuff. He was here less than 20 minutes, but he did say that he has taken hours to make a key and take out the assy.

So Freesil is blessed. She lept into action as soon as the new tumbler was installed. Sitting for almost 3 weeks. Started right up.
Good Girl Freesil!!!
