They work very well for top water. Nothing like seeing a big larg mouth suck one down.
I was using them on my grandparents golf course down in FL, and they worked so well. Those golf course bass are dumb since no one seriously fish's them. I threw the frog in and a 6 pounder just inhaled it.
The best color combo is the "mouse" which they don't have anymore. Its just like it sounds, white bottom, light gray top, with eyes.
