losing 7 in a row will bring about some changes. this is one area where u.s. soccer will have difficulty competing for a long time: star players staying in a luke-warm market. becks (or any one else) can go to any of about 30 teams in europe next year for more money and be a superstar again instead of languishing on a losing team in a country in which soccer is an afterthought. good news is the epl started up again this week!
