My dealer sent me to service. They checked the miles and signed off, even put the company stamp on the form. Commented that they didn't get to do this very often.

Apparently most Benz owners are either old farts who don't know/care about the high-milage program or yuppies who are years away from 250K km and probably don't keep cars long enough to qualify anyway. My '85 didn't have its 250K badge when I got it; my '96 had it but the badge had never been installed on the grille.

I had a call from the service manager last week . . . he needed my help to find the form on the MB web site . . . . . . not one of their big service items, I guess.

We need to encourage all qualified owners to get on the stick and order the appropriate badges before Mercedes gets tired of it and drops the program.
