My 2.5T gets about 31mpg if I baby it, and about 26-27 if I race everybody. The best I ever got in the 3 years of having it was 33mpg. I noticed I got about a 3mpg drop when I went to the bigger 16x7 rims, but that could also be attributed to the fact that the original rims had baldy tires on it (i.e. ghetto low-rolling-resistance
) and the 16s have newer tires on them. BTW, mine has 252,xxx miles on it and the terrain is mostly flat, but also mostly city driving. I use 5w40 synthetic semi oil, so I'm sure that helps a little bit.
