The motor is wired through each switch, ie, if the front switch isn't making good contact the window will not work. If the rear switch isn't making good contact it will not work. I would pull out both switches and clean them and put them back in.

I had a similar problem ,my rear window went down, but not back up. The rear switch was dirty, I cleaned it and it works fine.
