I tested the relay and the tests were successful. I noticed a lot of gritty sand in the connections. I also noticed the plastic cover over the 12V supply was open. I had some air conditioning work done in Aug; maybe they jarred the connections. When I start the car, the glow plug light goes off after 10 seconds. The check engine light stays on; I assume this is a residual from the problem.
