FS 1976 450SL Engine & Transmission and other parts.
Parting a 1976 450SL and I will have an extra engine and 722.004 transmission at the end of the day. The cats are not included (meow). Still in the car, but I can help remove it. 135K plus miles, turns over but did not start. Had been sitting for 4 years and I am told it was started occasionally. Located in McLean, Va. Interested in swapping for other parts I might need in my 1980 280SL restoration project.
There may be other parts available so no harm in asking (trunk lid is spoken for, hood is trashed but I might use it for sledding if we get enough snow this Winter). The bumpers are in very good shape and I will let them go once I get some good replacement Euro bumpers. I pretty much plan on keeping everything else but no harm in asking.
