Thanks guys, just what I wanted to hear. I soaked the engine compartment with "shout" for two days and went and pressure washed everything. I think the primer pump was the source of the mess I had while on a trip. I think the leaking diesel fuel got blown everywhere and loosened up all the oil under the hood.
While the car is running the pump will leak a drip on the ground within a minute. Probably more while running down the road.
