Thanx for the reply & the idea... I would n=have most lkely never thought of it on my own, but from the way you described how it works, it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out how to make it work, once I get the wiring diagrams.

I've ordered the manual on CD, which should arrive this weekend. I'll look it over good, and see what I can come up with.

My guess on the dealers here, is they don't want the liability of changing any of the "factory designed safety" systems... Must have gotten burned by some lawyers or something...
