Like I said, I did this the hard way. It wasnt that bad though. The coupe now has a lot of 240 parts so maybe I should have started with a 240, but the girlfriend will not have any of that. When the trans died, I being the pragmatic one, entered the possibility of, you know....getting a newer model w123(something built in the 80s at least?). What??! Get rid of the coupe? Unacceptable.

Sigh...the things you do.
