1984 300D Turbodiesel with 142k miles and wrecked front clip for sale. Damaged: hood, grill, both light assemblies (including turn signals), vy. slugh damage to lf fender, oil cooler. Is not leaking coolant, so damage was only oil/ac coolers.

Car was (is?) a very strong runner. Has new Michelin X tires (about 5k miles), new brakes all the way around (12/01 and 6/01), new exhaust (6/01). Blue body (fair--city car), palomino interior (fair/dirty). A/C did not work, usual vaccum problems. Could use new shocks. Seems like all else works.

Accident just occured yesterday and I have the car at my mechanic now awaiting estimate to fix or his bid to buy. Any offers? Ideas on what I should expect for it as a Parts Car? Recommendations on getting it fixed--is it worth it? What happens to great old cars like this...
