When I was doing troubleshooting on my cars for transmission problems, I finally bought the manual from the
ATSG.
This goes through the rebuild procedure, as well as having fairly detailed diagrams of much of the transmission, and troubleshooting trees to help figure out what is going on.
If you end up purchasing one, order the paper copy. It costs the same as the electronic, and you get to download the electronic as well.
