Doc, I was unaware of those exact dates... so a early W140 made in late 1991 would not have the faulty wiring harness? My uncle in South Carolina has a 1992 300SE W140 that I think was made in late 1991. His dad bought the car brand new at a dealership in Atlanta. I asked him and he said the car had the original wiring harness and it has never had any problems. I thought that was strange that it was still fine, but I am guessing this is the reason why?
