If your wallet and leisure time knows no bounds, then by all means continue. To give you a rough idea of the numbers involved with this, I would estimate this to be at least a 30k USD project, if not much more depending on how well you do it. And that is assuming you do it yourself.

If you do have a lot of experience in fabrication, motor swaps, and more importantly modern MB electronics, then you will at least have somewhat of an advantage. That is pretty much the only circumstance in which I would recommend doing this swap, and of course with the knowledge of how expensive it will be. Good luck my friend!
Well I have the motor and tranny, As far as the cost goes I have alot of help on that. Now as far as the fabrication I have never done it to a car. I have done alot semis, Pickups and farm tractors, This will be the first time I have messed with MB electronics which is why I have a back up motor that has no electronics on it. But I am still hyped about this build, I sold my super moded Dodge W200 so I want to do something psyco again.
