MB recommends only synthetic oils for all 1998 & later cars.
There are only 11 different oils on this list of approved oils. The lightest oil is 5W-30 & the heaviest is 15W-50(Mobil-1). Also 5W-40, 0W-40, 5W-50, & 10W-40 are approved in ONLY the 11 brands listed.
