We have a '93 300TE 4 Matic, infrequently the electric latching mechanism on the talkgate will not pull down and shut off. It will continually cycle. It will do this "clicking" for up to twenty clicks and then pull the tailgate down to the fully closed position. The tailgate will lock, with the regular locking mechanism when it is in this "cycling" mode, but it continues "clicking". During one instance I activated the dash switch for rear compartment lights and the cycling stopped. Any suggestions out there??? Thanks
