wow. The rod that you think is bent is indeed bent. It is called the guide rod and should be straight. I would think your lower control arm or where it mounts to the body must also be bent too. I also bet your guide rod (transmits the steering to the wheels) is also bent.

Hard to see the frame crack, it looks like you might just have a bit of rust on that mount.

Time to hit the junkyard!
