So over the past week my wife and I have bought a kitchen table with 6 chairs for $400, a TV stand thing for 80 and a desk for 125. Now if I did the math on these correctly the "new" items value of all of this is roughly around 2,500 dollars, 1,500 for a table with 6 chairs and 2 leaves for expansion (no really its a nice table), 300 for the exact same TV stand thing (in best buy). and 700 for the desk we will be getting from an office that is buying new stuff (comperable model in staples). So poor and know how to haggle Craigslist is for you! Besides "new" stuff is overrated cause as soon as you get it home it is now used stuff.
