I don't trust those numbers and they seem as mere speculation. Obama's stimulus hasn't even passed yet. Personally I don't want any of the taxpayer money going toward buying toxic assets or paying people's mortgages off. That's just going to create inflation and nothing of long-term economic value, not to mention it's an insult to people like me who have made great efforts to pay off their mortgages with their own money. I want the taxpayer investments going into useful, long-term things like infrastructure, education and alternative energy development.
