Commute or rent?
I've recently landed an internship with a company ~30 mins north of Baltimore.
I have family that's 75miles away(150mi total commute)
Driving the Benz at 20mpg and $3/gal that comes to $450 per month. At $5/gal that's $750/month. Motorcycle(If I'm brave enough) would be $150-$300/month.
Now If I was to rent a room with strangers in the town of the job I'd be looking at $400-$500 rent plus utilities/food/etc.
Decisions, decisions....
