I bet a lot of people don't know about the second adjuster on the manual seats....or it might be stuck. Pull up on the lever on the left side of the seat and shove back, it will go back to hang out with the rear seat!  My brother is 6' 5" with a 30" waist and he fits in his 300D just fine....though no one can sit behind him.
