I had a 140 chassis that had cluster and pushbutton started freaking out on and it ended up being the wiring harness from starter and alternator was falling apart and shorting, somehow backfeeding to the cluster and pushbutton. We replaced the harness but it was all over for the pushbutton and cluster. This may not be your problem, what is flashing ? Is it the lights on the bottom or the instrument lights?
