The W126 windshields are held in with adhesive only no rubber seals. The shop should pay to fix their screwup.

I use the Safelite outlet here in Lancaster Ca. They did a great job...twice. The first windshield was Chinese crap and cracked after a month. they replaced free of charge with a premium Pilkington and it's been 3 or 4 months or longer,(I'll have to look up the receipt) and this windshield is great.....so far.
