bent wheels, bad tires, steering dampers, and warped hubs or rusty hubs can cause this, what happens if you rotate the tires? I remeber seeing Rabbits and 944's vibrate with bad strut inserts as well (shocks) but this dosent seem the be a problem with the Benz product.

btw, the rusty hubs will throw the rotor face off as will a warped hub which is also accompanied by brake vibration.
