Yep....M103 300E and a 617 300SD.....I like both for what they are....but prefer the diesel's sound and feel....way more torque. The gasser is nice and quiet going 75 on the freeway though. They're more of a pain to troubleshoot....but my throw parts at it method takes care of most problems eventually.
The sound of the gasser when revving it up is pretty awesome.
Mileage and fuel costs are close to the same for both cars. My 300SD gets about 21-25mpg depending on winter/summer and how I drive....
The 300E gets between 15 and 22, once again, very dependent on how I drive.
