Adjust it gently and gradually. Don't do it like I did. I cranked it in until I felt about 10 ftlbs resistance. Jumped into the beast threw it into reverse and away it went. Aha!, sez I, slipped it into drive and went for a short spin. Short indeed! When the tranny shifted into final drive it slipped into reverse at the same time!
Took a week for the swelling in my lips to go down. Those steering wheels are hard!
Backed the adjuster off about a turn and a half and it's all better!
