I changed my 1988 560sel windshield last year because of etching. Insurance didn't cover it but I got the original MB glass from the Mercedes dealer here for $500.00 CDN - about $335 US - which I thought was reasonable. The rear window is a different story - they want $1250 CDN or about $840 US - OUCH!!
