I relocated from Canada a couple of years ago to Chicago no problem coming this way except for the speedometer had to be converted from Km to miles per hour. I sent the dash with the speedometer to VDO in California and within 3 days I had the unit back with the speedometer recalibrated and in mile per hour. The dealer in Canada only wanted $1200 CDn (approx $750.00 US). VDO charged me about $120.00. Here is the link. You might want to check it out before you move.
