Unless it is publicized what kind of defensive missles are to be installed, it could be a mere switching of warheads and there you have your offensive missle.

The fact that nobody is asking us for defensive shields to be installed in their country shows that this was a silly idea to begin with. Really, it would just make Poland and Czech. more susceptible to being a target, should whoever the defense is being used for actually act..and I forsee that not happening. Iran isn't going to send any missles anywhere, and Russia could care less if there was a defense shield in the way of their interests. So what's the point?
