The driver seat in my 300SDL is kind of flat. I think the soft padding has deteriorated inside. The spring is good. Am I right about there being four peices to the seat?

The spring frame
The hard foam material
The soft foam material
The leather

I think i need the 'soft foam material' but I have never done this before. I have a 'hard foam material' here that was sent to me by accident, but I just kept it for this project. Is it hard to take off the leather? Do you need to take the seat apart?

Any advise/suggestions appreciated.
