96 Dodge Caravan Rear Shocks

One of the lower bolts of the rear shocks of my Caravan broke and the piece is still inside the mount. I tried turning the broken piece but its bonded to the mount due to rust. Tried heating it with mapp gas but could not budge it.

I also tried turning the other bolts of the shocks but looks like they are all stuck. Wish I had an acetylene welder.

Well, its off to my indy tomorrow and have them do the work. Just got a pair of Carquest (KYB) shocks for them to use.

If I knew this would happen, I would probably have checked these bolts, unfasten and lubricate them occasionally to prevent this from happening.
