The head broke off, and the side connected to the cage nut is rusted tight? Depending on the setup, if the room allows, I would cut off the cage nut, and drop the shock... But since you're taking it to an INDY tomorrow, do everybody involved a favor and soak them in PB blaster. If possible tie/tap some rags around the bolts, and soak the rags also. An overnighter with penitrating oil working on the bolts might help it.

JW, but since it's an older caravan, why not go with cheaper monro matics? Not to question your judgement or anything, just wandering why the choice$ ?
