Does anyone know what years these models used oil coolers? Does the 240 use the same cooler as the 300's, if at all?

All I can find for information is the model year 1982 and later used oil coolers. Is that correct? Any help is appreciated on this matter.

Thanks.
If I were you I wouldn't mess with old oil coolers. Mine blew and the engine was destroyed. It was a faulty repair of the type you are considering that caused the problem.
