Figured it out. Turns out the clips that hold the window brush in are the same as the clips that hold the trim piece on. I took the brush out from the inside after lowering the glass and poped the trim off once it was expose. If one knew where the trim pieces were, you could pry it STRAIGHT UP from the outside.

The thing that fools you is that you can see some plastic spacers from underneath the trim and these are NOT the clips. They keep the trim from squeaking.

BTW: My car's original color (917G) is a little greener and not as bright as it is currently painted. Looks pretty sky blue now. One of these days I'll have to remove this trim again and get it repainted the correct color.
