So you think that slave was fine based on what I mentioned?

Also, when I put the new slave in, I didn't notice any hole or slot in particular that the rod slides into - it just seemed to press against something inside the transmission (couldn't really see in from the angle I was in underneath the car), and I had to push it in against the spring-back within the slave until I got the bolts threaded in.

Does it sound like I put it in correctly? I never saw any mention of that in the tutorials I read.
