Success? I don't see too many, and I have yet to meet someone who actually likes those Scions.
As for sporty...I don't get what people mean when they say that. A crap box that costs $13000 isn't going to be sporty...I know they tried to pass the Scions off as sporty when they came out, but with 108 hp? 13 inch wheels (well, they look like 13") Of course, this 108 hp is backed by a similarly low number of torque.
I get even more mad when people call cars "zippy" (usually referring to a Yaris or something like that)
