No built in seat in Canada. Tether anchor points from 1988-

Canadian cars are a little different. We, of course have our instruments in metric. Since 1990 we have Daytime Running Lights. We also never lost the "5 mph" bumper regs (8 km/h in Canada).

As to child safety, we have required tethers for forward facing toddler seats since 1988.

We also on occasion get cars you don't. The 190E 2.3 came in more versions, and was never discontinued in Canada until replaced by the C-Class. We get more C-Class variants, an extra ML version, and the S430SWB that you don't get.
