that is the pressure switch. - clean it out if you suspect it.

test for continuity across the contact and the threads. If it is stuck, you will have continuity.

judging by the dirt on the solenoid on your firewall, you have not removed it for a thorough cleaning - fill it repeatedly with WD-40 and shake the living he!! out of it.
