300E manual trans fuel economy

Hey,

The 300E normally comes with an automatic 4-speed transmission and is rated to get 17 city/ 22 highway (according to carpoint.com, 1998 300E).

In 1986, there was a manual transmission 5-speed available. Does anyone have any fuel economy numbers for that trans? Would it be safe to guess high 20's freeway, low 20's city?

Thanks for any info...
