I prefer metal over any non metallic if I'm attaching to metal.
Less chance of cracking over time.

The original AMG kits for the SEC and CE are rare with a set or two known to exist in the UK that came from Stratton's stock.

I'm not sure if the AMG facilities in the USA ever stocked or installed these kits as the only cars that I know of were Euro or Japanese.

The Porsche sheetmetal has always intrigued me so I'm going for it.
Same period, same shape and curious if AMG may have based their design on what Porsche was doing with widebodies !!!

I'll keep you posted as I can't start until my wheels come in from the UK.
Having a set of 3 piece AMG/OZ Aero's built which are period to the CE widebody and also used on the SEC.
I'll run 8.5x17 ET18 front and 10x17 rear with a negative 13 offset.
The rears should push out 3" without using spacers.

Register at the UK site and you'll get an eyeful !!!!
