Monitor whether or not the blower comes on when you hit bumps or if given time. I replaced my reg beacuse the blower was intermittent when the motor was at actually at fault.

If you suspect this to be the case, remove the kick panels and expose the motor and squirell cage fan. When the CCu is on Auto and showing the fan should be spinning, reach under and give the squirell cage a 1/2" nudge clockwise and see if it fires up. If so, its the motor. Stops on a brush dead spot........Len S. determined it is possible to replace the brushes although the motor IS sealed.
