Theoretically, your 603 pump should be able to produce roughly the same power output as the stock (unmodified) 606 pump, assuming you turn up the full load screw. It won't offer the same smoothness and optimized fuel delivery under a variety of engine conditions as the 606 pump, but it should run reasonably well. Swapping in the 6mm elements from the 606 pump is a big deal, and would probably cost about the same as a complete pump rebuild.
